System prompt composition

The LLM receives a composite system prompt assembled at session start: the three zones below in order, then Inlux's shared fragments (fab_core_values, self_awareness, shared_practices, agent_workspace, tool guide) which are platform-managed and identical for every FAB. No need to restate those in your System Prompt.

System Prompt

Identity, role, domain expertise — the "who you are". Modifiable by the FAB itself only via update_fab if granted.

Complementary Prompt

Operational layer that refines or overrides the System Prompt. Use for "how to act" rules (tool usage patterns, output format, execution discipline). Same edit gate as System Prompt.

FAB Consignes

Admin-managed guidelines the FAB cannot rewrite. Use for hard rules you want immune to FAB self-modification.

About docs (visible to interlocutors)

Markdown documents shown to every user who interacts with this FAB (under "About " in the burger menu). Use for charter, capabilities, limits, examples. Travels with the FAB on FIP transfer.

Knowledge Base

Reference files this FAB will use to answer domain questions. Each upload is processed by Inlux: text extracted (for PDFs), described by an LLM, indexed in a CATALOGUE that is injected into every session prompt. The FAB reads each individual file just-in-time when a question requires it.

Max Chain Depth (FAB↔FAB)

Cap sur les aller-retours en chaîne entre FABs (send_to_fab + relay). Vide = hérite du default plateforme (3). Quand deux FABs s'échangent, le cap effectif est le MAX des deux.
